Data sources

SharpFooty Analytics · sharpfooty.uk · last updated 14 July 2026

Transparency about where every number comes from. We never synthesise a price or a result.

Odds & markets

Real bookmaker prices from a licensed odds feed, captured and timestamped by our engine. Fair odds are derived from these by removing the bookmaker margin — no invented lines.

Results & history

Match results are ingested continuously from multiple providers (an authoritative worldwide fixtures API, an open football-data feed and harvested final scores), deduplicated to one row per real game so the model always trains on a clean, gap-free archive.

Team news & context

Grounded AI briefs gather publicly reported team news (injuries, suspensions, rotation). Lineups and player statistics come from a football data API; weather from an open forecast API where it can affect goal expectations. Club crests, flags and league logos are cached from a media CDN and served from our own domain.

What we do not use

No tipster consensus, no "expert" picks, no scraped predictions from other sites. The inputs are data and the market; the outputs are ours.
